Sabrine Long-Dailey was born on September 3, 1976, in Wiesbaden, Germany, to Samuel Wayne Long, Sr. (deceased) and Linda Faye Long (deceased). She was the third of five children and grew up in Waco, Texas after her father served in the Army. At an early age, Sabrine, known as Tot, was energetic and loved dancing. Sabrine attended Kendrick Elementary School, Carver Sixth Grade Center, and University Middle School during early childhood. She illustrated her brilliance in the classroom and joined the band, playing the Clarinet. While attending University High School, she participated in marching band, Concert band, and the Drama Club.
In the Spring of 1995, Sabrine graduated from University High School with honors and pursued her degree in Psychology,minoring in Social Work at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. At Prairie View A&M University, she was a proud “Marching Storm” member for two years. Keeping her wits about her, Sabrine earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Social Work in the Spring of 2000and her master’s degree in counseling in 2004. After earning her degrees, Sabrine stayed in Waller County and worked as a Pre-K Teacher at Feels Like Home Child Care in Waller, Texas, from 2008 to 2024.
Throughout the years at Feels Like Home Child Care, Sabrinebuilt a lifelong bond with her co-workers, kids, and parents. She loved all the kids as if they were her own. While preparing lesson plans weekly, she also made time to entertain us with her energetic dance videos on Facebook. She loved dancing and sharing her fitness journey with Beachbody on Demand.
On September 24, 2016, Sabrine married Christopher Dailey, and they had a precious Furr baby named Penni. Although she did not have biological kids, she was an awesome auntie to her niece and nephew.
Sabrine was preceded by her father, Samuel Wayne Long, Sr., Mother, Linda Faye Long, and oldest brother, Shannon Duane Long. She leaves behind Christopher Dailey (Penni), Samuel Wayne Long, Jr. (Shaleka), Crystal Long, and Lashunda Mitchell (Terrance). She is also survived by Serenity Long (Niece) and Creed Long (Nephew).
Sabrine Long-Dailey was loved by a host of Family and Friends. She has left her footprint on this earth that will last forever, like her beautiful smile.
