Rev. Otha Ray Cooper was born on March 26, 1941 to the proud parents of John Dewitt and Elnora Cooper
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Cooper, his father, John Dewitt; mother, Elnora Cooper; Tommy Lee Cooper; sister, Katie Mae Johnson; brother John Edward Cooper; and James Odis Cooper.
He accepted Christ at an early age. He received his wings on February 16th surrounded by love ones. He worked for the school district providing transportation. He retired from Montgomery Wards. He united with Hopewell Baptist Church at an early age until moving to Fort Worth closer to his son. He remained a faithful member until his departing.

He leaves to cherish his memory: son, Brian Cooper (Sharon) of Fort Worth, TX: sisters, Mildred Montgomery and Glenda Sellers both of Waco, TX: grandchildren, Beth-L Cooper of Ohio, Anthony Crawford, Jr. and Anton Clark, both of Fort Worth; and a host of great, great-great nieces, nephews and loving and devoted friends.
