Joshua Demarionte Scarlett

Mr. Joshua Scarlett was born April the 29, 1997. He attended Doris Miller Elementary School. Then went to Carver Middle School. He received his high school diploma from Mexia High School.

 Joshua attended New Branch Worship Center under the leadership of the late Pastor Lawrence Scott Sr. He later in life attended Rock Of Ages under the leadership of Pastor Maxwell Douglas, where he accepted Christ and was baptized. 

Joshua enjoyed fishing, hunting, music and spending time with his family. He had a gentle soul that was caring and loving. His spunkiness and wittiness will be truly missed. 

Mr. Joshua Scarlett’s loved ones who proceeded him in death include his father, Reginald Scarlett Sr.; grandmothers, Georgia Scarlett and Maudie Williams; grandfathers, Aaron Ward and Wilbur Williams Sr.; uncle “Godfather”, Wilbur Williams Jr.

He leaves to cherish his mother, Doreen Scarlett; step-father, Milton Witt; brothers, Reginald Scarlett Jr. (Kristen), Tony Walker and Dayon Stewart; sisters, Erica Scarlett, Tiffany Melvin, Whitney Scarlett (Quincy), Malliah Scarlett, De’Drica Hodges, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
