Irene Mary Carroll

Irene Mary Smith, born on June 14, 1951, in Memphis, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2024. A woman of extraordinary kindness and boundless forgiveness, Irene embodied the true essence of Christian love and compassion throughout her life. Her unwavering faith and gentle spirit touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. Irene's sweet and quiescent nature was a beacon of light in a chaotic world. Irene was always willing to offer what she could to those in need. In her later years, she resided at Legacy West Nursing, where she continued to share her warmth and kindness with fellow residents and staff.

Irene is survived by her beloved children, sisters, cherished grandchildren, and a host of relatives, friends and family as well as the love of her life, Arthur Connelly. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Irene's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, as they find comfort in her kindness and the countless beautiful moments shared with her.
