Henry TC Smith, 76, was born in Foreman, Arkansas to
Eddie Smith Sr. and Atlee (Forte) Smith on July 28, 1948.
Over the years, TC became a proud Waco local and was
known as a beloved Husband, Dad, Papa and Friend. He
lived a life full of laughter, stories, and service to others
through helping them however he could, including giving
his direct advice to anyone who needed it without judging.
TC loved spending time working at his automotive shop,
hanging out with his family and friends watching sports,
movies or westerns, playing games or just sitting around
joking and telling stories.
He was known for being one of the best in storytelling,
jokes, dominoes, poker and doing automotive repairs.
As a former athlete, he loved football and basketball,
specifically his Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers.
When he was not at the shop, he loved to take road trips
and would often leave Waco to visit family or go to
WinStar, get his room, play Bingo and slots.
He leaves to cherish his memory, Wife of 30+ years, Melanie
Chandler; Children, Korey (Janice) Munson, Trechia Smith,
Jackie Smith, La’Kia (Larry) Smith, Keanna Chandler, Ashley
(Brandon) Chandler, DeShawn (Kanausha) Smith, Darron
Damron, Terrance Smith; Siblings, Benny Smith, Ella Hager,
Edna (JD) Davis, Mary (Harry) Jones; 19 grandchildren, 11
great grand children and a host of other family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eddie Smith Sr. and
Atlee (Forte) Smith, his brother Eddie Smith Jr., sisters
Blonzie (Smith) Brown and JoAnn Smith and his first
daughter, Stephanie Ann Smith.
