Enedino Medina Obituary

Enedino Medina Chavez, 70, of Waco, TX passed away on January 13, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

Born on November 2, 1954 in La Ojo de Agua de los Mares, Querétaro, México to Cecilia Chávez and (.J) Concepción Medina. His life was a testament to hard work, generosity and adventures spirit. He worked his father's land in Zoyapilca harvesting corn and beans. At 15 his rebellious soul led him to move to Mexico City where he worked as a delivery driver for a meat market. Ready for more adventure, he moved to United States at 18. Among many odd jobs he worked for 'Don Alfredo' of Pelham, TX harvesting corn, cotton and sorghum. His grit, wit and skill later led him to work as an apprentice for Castillo Plumbing. He earned his Master Plumbers License in 1992 and started his own business, Dino's Plumbing. Alongside his own personal career success he also earned his citizenship in 1987. After an immense health battle he received a liver transplant on June 16, 2002, which he later termed his 'Second Birthday'.

Enedino was a generous soul to those in need, often seen helping relatives and family, without expecting anything in return. Enedino loved the outdoors and his true passion was hunting, especially doves and deer. Every hunting trip was an opportunity to bond with a close family member or friend. Afterwards, a successful hunt also brought family together to assist with cutting and preparing the meat. His love of animals and nature also reflected in the animals he raised on his ranch including chickens, goats, cows, pigs & sheep.

He is reunited in the kingdom of heaven with his father Concepción, brothers Venancio (I), Sabino, Narciso & Venancio (II), cousins Victorio & Hilario. His legacy lives on with spouse Raquel Reyes, children Sabino, Rosalva, Manuel, Angel & Karla, and grandchildren Dezmond & Cruz, Matthew, Aaliyah, Iker, Emilia, Victoria, Génesis, Natalia, Milani, Angel among several siblings, cousins and extended family members.
