Dorothy Booker Norman

Dorothy Booker Norman was born on March 30, 1961, in Gatesville, Texas, and passed away on July 16, 2025, at the young age of 64, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and joy. She was the beloved daughter of Thelma Louise Jackson-Keller and Mr. Jackson. Dorothy grew up in Gatesville and was deeply close to her siblings, cherishing family throughout her life.

A devoted member of Mount Calvary Church of God in Christ, Dorothy loved the Lord with all her heart. Her faith was unwavering, and she lived each day with love, kindness, and compassion. Known for her beautiful voice, kind spirit, infectious laughter, and love of dancing, Dorothy touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity. Her friends were truly an extension of her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Louise Jackson-Keller; father, Mr. Jackson; and siblings Cynthia, Darlene, Darrell, Johnny, and Clarence.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory: her siblings Vivian, Gerald Jr., Elijah Jr., and Angelia; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and many dear friends. Each held a special place in her heart, just as she now holds a special place in theirs.
