Dianne Rhodes

Dianne Rhodes; 65, of Waco, passed away.July 10th, 2024. Dianne was born to Lula Mae Sims and Sket Roosevelt Graves on February 3rd 1959 in Waco, TX. She attended University High School from 1973 through 1977 and started a family shortly after. Raising her six children would become her mission in life and as difficult as that mission may have gotten, she persevered every storm.

Dianne was a loving and caring woman. She loved soul and R&B music and having fun with family and friends. Her life was devoted to not only raising her children but many of her grandchildren as well. Dianne was the heart of her family.

Dianne is survived by her children Willie Sims, Ronniqua Sims, Jimmy Sims, and Brittany Rhodes; sister, Sandra Sims; and brother Albert Sims all of Waco, TX. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Dianne is preceded in death by her children, James Curtis, Tomaka Sims and Leander Rhodes, whom she missed daily until her passing. She is also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Larry Sims and Ricky Sims.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19th at 11:00am at Reflections by Serenity located at 7524 Bosque Blvd. 
Graveside services will follow at Rosemound cemetery,
3201 S 12th St, Waco, TX.
