Charles Edward Washington was born in Moorhead, MS, on January 3, 1957 to the parents of Louvenia (Bell) Washington and Gabe Washington.
He attended Gentry High School in Indianola, MS. After high school he moved to New Orleans, LA where he worked in a shipyard for many years. Later, he moved to Waco, TX where he worked as a roofer for Johnson Roofing Co. until retirement.
Charles was a very humble and giving individual who loved his family and friends dearly. Those who loved and preceded him in death were his mother, Louvenia Washington; father, Gabe Washington; brother, Joe Lewis Tall; sister, Ruth Ellen Smith; brother, Curtis Washington; sister, Brenda K. Washington-Jones; sister, Sylvia J. Washington.
