Cecil Sanderson, Jr.

Cecil Sanderson, Jr. was born to the late Rev. Cecil Sanderson, Sr, and Ella Mae (Perry) Sanderson along with his twin Cedrick Sanderson on June 11, 1957.

Cecil graduated from Temple High School and entered the United States Army in 1975. While stationed in Korea he married Kim Yong Ye and unto this union a daughter was born, Bertha Inez Sanderson. He was later stationed in Washington State.

He attended Victory Missionary Baptist Church while his father Rev. Cecil Sanderson, Sr. was pastor.

He worked at Fort Hood in the Mess Hall and later relocated.

He departed this life on June 25, 2023 at Brazos Nursing Home in Waco, Texas.  He was reunited with both parents Cecil Sanderson (father), Ella Mae Sanderson (Mother), and both grandparents.

He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Bertha Inez Sanderson of Houston, Texas, Step-Mother Bettye Sanderson, Temple, Texas Twin Brother Cedrick (Eva) Sanderson of Frederick, Maryland, Christopher (Angela) Sanderson of Houston, Texas. Step-Sisters: Regina Freeman, Sylvia (Dan) Trager, Sharon Townson all of Temple, Texas. Step-Brothers: John (Rita) Tidwell of Garland Texas, Royce (Shawn) Tidwell of Temple, Texas.
