Bertha Randle Sims

Bertha Sims, 91, passed away on July 1, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Final resting place will be at Doris Miller Memorial Park.
Bertha was born November 22, 1934 in Butler, TX, right outside Fairfield, to Earnest and Earlie Randle (Shed). She married Jessie Sims December 20, 1956 and to this 40-year union three children were born, Marvin, Paulette, and Lora.
She loved the Lord and she loved children. She babysat for over 50 years for several families. She loved watching game shoes and westerns and doing word search puzzles.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Jessie Sims; parents; brother, Claudine Davis, and sisters Mattie Parks, Noble Davis, and Flossie Birdow.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Marvin Sims; her daughters Paulette (Lorenzo Sr.) Greer and Lora Sims; grandchildren Lorenzo Greer Jr., Vincenzio Greer, Marzianno Greer, Zarrio Greer, Elizandro Greer and Zenecia Greer; great-granddaughter Amaya Greer, Sister Gatha Govan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
