Barbara Anne Windham

Barbara Anne Windham was born April 16, 1946 in Brookhaven Mississippi to Hovis Marshall Windham and Agnes Case Windham. The family moved to Pasadena where Barbara grew up and eventually met and married Joey Long in the mid 60’s and enjoyed many years of marriage, before Joey’s passing in 1995.  In 2013 Barbara moved to Clifton, Texas to live in the home of her special friend, Chuck Herring, until her passing on July 9, 2023.  Barbara led a full and exciting life and was loved by many and now resides in Heaven with her Father God.  She will be missed by many friends and relatives and is survived by sister Linda Jones and husband James of Brenham, Texas, brother Buddy Windham and wife Mary Kay of Leakey, Texas. Sister Becky Gillespie and husband Johnny of Lawrenceville, Georgia, several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Ascension Living Providence Village who treated Barbara with dignity and respect her last few days and special nephew, Brad Helms for his loving kindness to carry out her final wishes.
